Novak hasn't said where the idea originally came from - there is speculation it was Richard Armitrage - an associate of Colin Powell's. Powell and his people are big leakers. ----------- Libby probably did have nothing to do with a leak, he's not charged with leaking but with obstruction of justice, false statements, and perjury. People are questioned under oath over and over and if they contradict themselves or some other source even if by mistake, they can be indicted.
