The US and Israel had a chance to see Hamas become an actual government. Instead, they immediately began to take it apart and punish the people who had voted in a democratic election. Then let them. Nothing is stopping them from being a government. If anything is stopping them, it's Fatah. Of course, unless you're telling us the only way they can be a government is if the world pays them "blackmail" to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. If they truly voted for a party that advances terrorism and the destruction of another country, then why should we subsidize them. They made their decision, and now they can suffer the consequences. Of course, you're welcome to make a donation.. (if you haven't already).. This isn't diplomacy. This is a tantrum. Funny, this is exactly what I perceive from the Palestinians. They don't like what was offered to them in 2000, and they can't accept that the Israeli unilaterally withdrew from Gaza.. so they throw a tantrum and elect Hamas. Hawk
