But I am pleased to see a Rove-style attempt to smear Democrats with "weak on terror" labels at every turn deflected. I take your point but it is the mark of a weak mind to infer an insult from an example. Yes, I know that a lot of voters have weak minds. And yes, I know that politicians take advantage of that by sprinkling such associations in their messages. And yes, I know that's what might have happened here. But there is an equally valid alternative explanation and I don't think it "reasonable" to take one explanation as fact when alternatives are available.
