What has turned me off to organized religion..all these wars are religiously orientated. Yep, they are. You would think that the rank hypocrisy would shame the participants enough to stop them in their tracks. And along the lines of religions' treating women poorly, even as a young boy, I couldn't understand why the Holy Trinity did not include a female. By the way on my trip to Michigan I met two Quakers . That is a form of higher power stuff that I could relate to. Yep again. The Quakers also got the abolition movement started, way back when.
