Well, we already made a big mistake letting Sadr out of the hole he was dug in, but the US continues "cold feet" mistakes when they fail to destroy their enemies.

I saw an expose this week wherein Reagan had ordered the eradication of a Hezbollah base, in fact the ONLY major Hezbollah base right after the Marine barracks bombing, and the US Military was all systems go, until caspar weinberger, the JEW HATING scumbag, called off the attack when Reagan was asleep.

Reagand said then we'd pay a high price for retreating from Lebanon.

It is normal for diplomats to communicate things that are not released publicly. It would be normal for a diplomat to express a wide range of opinions. It is possible there are different diplomats employed for optimistic and pessimistic opinions. Without additional information, I can not evaluate the report. IT does help form a patchwork of information that could change my current assessment. Thanks for posting it.
