The fact is the Middle East chose violence from the beginning, only to fail time and time again. Blaming Israel for their troubles is pretty stupid IMO when they are the ones who continue wasting time, money, and lives on a foolhardy crusade against a state supported by a superpower.

That is a naive and incredibly uninformed statement. The Arabs turn to violence started in the mid to late 1920s when it became clear the Brits were playing them in favor of the Zionists. In turn, the Zionists also resorted to violence and formed their own terrorist groups. From the 1920s to the 1940s, there was fighting between the Zionists and Arabs on a regular basis. Near the end during the final years leading to Israeli statehood, the Brits realized that forming a Jewish state in the middle of Palestine was a huge mistake and they reneged on their promise to the Zionists. Recognizing they were about to lose everything, the Zionists turned to the newly formed UN and the US to get their statehood while attacking the Brits whenever they could. Israel was born in blood and will die in blood.
