" This is really a political rather than a military question, but what if the generals said we can't control the situation and our troops are in an untenable situation? What if the latest date of December 31 for Iraqi security takeover in all provinces fails to occur? When would you, personally, be willing to reconsider the question of our continued involvement? Never? Under any circumstances? I don't need a date, just a factual pattern of events whenever they might occur. that is what I gave you.
