What supposedly promulgated this current violent conflict is a border dispute--this, the day after Iran stated it wouldn't go along with Western nuclear wishes. So the conclusion here is that this is not really a border dispute, as Israel has claimed. There's a greater hanky-panky involved and a reason why the US has not called for a ceasefire.
