Gillespie worked for Enron and the GOP at the same time. His job was to engineer the PR and TV campaign to try and blame the huge, deliberate gouging and phony "energy crisis" on democrats.

The money went into a PAC which refused to say where it got its money. Turns out it was from Enron. But I asked California State Senator who this PAC really was and he said "the Republicans".

Indeed, after this mysterious Enron-GOP PAC was successful in duping the public that Grey Davis was to blame for the gouging with 7 million in TV disinformation ads, Gillespie was promoted to head the RNC by Bush. That is a huge promotion for what is in essence being the leader of an organized crime enterprise.

"Close pals" or old business connections is not evidence. Lack of criticism is not evidence. A tape with Enron traders talking about how they will rake in bucks if Bush is president is also not evidence.

We already know all that. Inability to find WMDs in Iraq is not evidence that they didn't exist and were not carted away (probably to North Korea? ;-) ) before the US attack on Iraq.
