Europeans occupied by the Nazis would easily have gone to Berlin, if they could, and blasted civilian Germans to kingdom come.

So why are you so worried about civilian casualties?

After all, the Shi'a were brutalized for 40+ years by the Ba'thists.. So using your logic they should be fully authorized to kill every Sunni in Iraq.

And why would you be worried about US atrocities when Bin Ladin clearly targeted US civilians on 9/11.

Using YOUR logic, we should be authorized to kill anyone who was involved with Al Qai'da, including Saddam's government.

And please don't make me have to show you the proof of Saddam's complicity with Al Qai'da once again..

Have you noticed the following argument:

Israel tells civilians to leave.

Not all do.

Israel bombs, and civilians die.

Its Hezbollahs fault.

Contrast with:

Arabs tell Jewish settlers to leave Gaza, West Bank.

Settlers stay.

Arabs bomb and kill civilians

Its Arabs fault.
