played some poker this weekend. i won the first pot - which was nice. i got to thinking i had a little "game."

then the cards hit... the bad cards. i think i went 7 or 8 hands in a row w/o a card higher than an 8. i had to play 2,3, but when the flop came down 8 J, Q, what could i do?

it was horrible. i was tossing hand after hand.

3 of the hands would've won, though.

however, they were wins like 2, 5 (tossed by me). 9, J, 3... 4, 6.

come on - how can i bet that crap? and each of my "woulda wins" was like that.

i think i won a hand early with a flush. then the 2, 5, 8 don't matter so much. ;-)

i was in 2nd place for along time, but i think i ended up being the first guy out. crap card humility.

1 win out of 2 ain't bad, though.
