Bush made "Enron" Ed Gillespie head of the RNC as a reward for Gillespie successfully steering the Enron PR operation and getting most people to believe that the huge criminal gouging was the fault of its victims, not its corporate and political perpetrators, and that democrats were to blame, even though they had nothing to do with it besides being lied to by Enron and all the other criminal companies.
