Of course neocons like Ollie North had a real buddy-buddy relationship with Iran during that period too. The weapons he supplied got Israel kicked out of Lebanon in the first place, and so inspired Hezbolla.

The picture of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam is utterly meaningless and simply shows how weak-minded leftists are.

There are pictures of Nixon shaking hands with Mao. Doesn't make Nixon a supporter of Communism.
