I'm just saying Bush could be a fool to support Israel's destruction of Shiites in Lebanon and try to get Shiite support he needs in Iraq at the same time - it could be seen as contradictory.

It seems obvious that he never considered such a scenario before he started a war in Iraq looking for WMD's that weren’t there. Thats the problem in the ME - its a looney quicksand.

(Personally, I believe you are *both* wrong. I find it stretches credulity BEYOND COMPREHENSION to, for example, blame either 'Jews' or 'Arabs' for all the wars in ancient China, or Japan, or central Asia, or in pre-Columbian Americas, or among the Celts, etc., etc., etc. :-)
