The post I linked to was mostly about free trade (and opposition to it) and secondarily about tax policy. It has very little to do with immigration, so I don't understand your reply.

Democrats are ready to fine companies which hire illegals. Republicans will never do that. If you want a safer border, and safer saner country in general, vote democrat.
