My skills are in fundamental analysis and investing rather than trading. I've made a lot of money by buying small companies bringing mines and hydrocarbon fields into production, which requires holding for extended periods.

Both ARS and SME fit that model, and I plan to hold my core positions for years and trade around them. IMO the share price in both would be much higher right now without the Schafer hump in the charts.

I guess I shouldn't care because in the long run the Schaefer pump will be but a tiny blip, but it still bugs me. I had considered adding CUU to my stable based on fundamentals about six months ago. Good thing I didn't, but maybe after Schaefer has finished wrecking the chart my entry point will come.
