Geez Loueeze, sit down and negotiate. It's like watching a bunch of children.

Where are the adults when we need them.

It should also include a major program to train and equip the Lebanese military so it can eventually disarm Hezbollah; massive economic assistance to Lebanon to win popular support for such an effort; encouragement of Israel to discuss all issues of concern with the Lebanese government; and an international force that can help the Lebanese armed forces establish a buffer zone along the border until the Lebanese are ready to handle the mission on their own.

Good ideas, all of them. But how do you propose to do any of them if Hizbullah remains bloodied but unbowed (this equals an Arab victory), more powerful and better funded than any other militia in Lebanon, including the so-called army? The army is Shia; it won't fight Hizbullah. Only if Hizbullah is thoroughly battered and cut off from quick resupply will there be an interval where others can arrange the course of Lebanon. If the IDF doesn't do it, who will?
