I gettin' kinda tired of hearing generals, politicians, journalists, pundits, commentators and every asshole on the street say Iraq "may" be sliding toward civil war.

No one has the balls to call it what it is. The media is especially divorced form reality, showing daily carnage, yet seeming to be waiting for some authority, anyone as long as it's someone else, use the dreaded word. For using that word will surely spell the end of our fantasy that Iraq, the nation, can be salvaged out of the 14 molar acid bath we have cast it into.

Even Rummy, yesterday, when asked if Iraq is in civil war, backs out of answering because we have no reference point for deciding what is going on in Iraq. As if the stats don't make any difference. If it doesn't LOOK like our civil war, it must not be civil war, right?

Fook 'em.
