(AP) -- Biopharmaceutical company CV Therapeutics Inc. said Monday that it is selling 7.5 million shares of its common stock in a public offering. All of the shares are being offered by CV Therapeutics. The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an added 1.125 million shares to cover over-allotments. Lehman Brothers Inc. and Merrill Lynch & Co. are acting as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners of the public offering.
