There were fairly equal Jewish and Arab populations in Palestine by the time the State of Israel became independent. Whether one thinks it is just or not, is not important because a reversal isn't going to happen. The problem with Hizbullah is they use their supporters sense of justice for their political ends in attacking Israel... and we see the consequences of that... The numbers then were the result of both Jewish and Arab immigration. In 1880 the total population was 200,000 of which 10% was Jewish.

>There are so many places in the world which would welcome Jewish immigrants. <

I live in the U.S. and they are all most welcome to live here. In fact I would support the creation of a second Israel somewhere here in North America. Maybe New York, Florida or Hollywood would be a suitable location...they can take their pick. I am sure all the countless friends of Israel in the U.S. would support the same, except for their not so true friends who only support a zionist state in someone else's backyard or their crusader allies who want Christian domination of Jerusalem thru a proxy. If the Zionists are not yet ready to give up on Israel in the heart of the moslem lands, then the prudent thing to do would be to create a back up Zionist state somewhere else in the Americas in preparation for the day when god forbid, Israel becomes a secular state where moslems, jews and christians live together in peace.
