Do you know, is the 300,000 strike for the proof coins or both proof and non-proof?

From Chispas' article:

Quoting the Mint: "Priced at $800, with a mintage limit of up to 300,000 coins, the American Buffalo Gold Proof Coin will be encapsulated in plastic to protect its pristine, proof finish. So it's just the proofs.
