there is not only a beautiful woman but one who makes a great deal of sense.

I agree. There is no pretense. She speaks knowledgeably, plainly, and from the heart.

Too often we become suckers for people who wants us to think they know things we couldn't possibly know or understand.

I am referring to people like Donald Rumsfeld. He is the one that knows all about the known unknowns and unknown knowns, etc.

There is a man who has taken a little bit of knowledge and advanced himself to absurd heights.

There is a man who pretends he knows important principals of life and makes policy based on what he pretends to understand.

It is not Donald Rumsfeld's fault that he acts out his absurd fantasies.

It is the fault of all of us who serve as useful idiots in thinking we should listen to this man and try to understand his deep wisdom because surely a man in his position couldn't have gotten there without a great understanding of important matters.

We need to feel better about ourselves and not feel that authority figures have necesarily a better understanding of complex matter.

We need to the math and do our own thinking.

I know I have digressed a bit. Thanks for putting up with me.
