I sent that Dennis Miller HBO rant on Israel to a number of people via email yesterday. (These were folks I thought would get a kick out of it.)

One of the recipients evidently forwarded it to some of her friends.

So I get a response later in the afternoon from some
dude I don't know who takes issue with the comments. He tells me why "My" comments were unsubstantiated. ( Miller said something about there is no such thing as Palestinians. The dude said well someone was living in what became Israel, maybe they were Palestinians.)

But the best part was his observation that Israel should have
been created in a part of New Mexico or some desert area in the U.S. where Israelis could have made a nice oasis. (What??? Don't recall any biblical references to New Mexico..)

I replied telling him, duh, dude. These weren't my comments, note the subject line: DENNIS MILLER COMMENTS.

I also suggested that he might do well well writing comedy given his New Mexico concept.
