Monterey Jones, Those inhuman practices were ingrained by years of their existence. Of course, slavery is man's inhumanity toward man", and was doomed to be eradicated regardless of who was in office. Abe Lincoln, who every one thinks is a great hero, wrote letters that referred to African-American people with the "N" word.

Women deserved equal rights long before they got them, but their right to vote has caused some really odd results. 8^)
