Bushies lie about the estate tax. First of all, 98% of Americans are already free of estate taxes. So this is just about the top 2% who Bushies will do anything to throw unneeded gifts at, even if it all adds top the already humongus Bush deficits. The Bushies call this the "death tax" and tell us family farms and small businesses can be "lost" because of it. Howwver, that is total BS. There is no record of any family farm ever being lost because of this tax, at least not in recent decades, and few if any small businesses. Also small businesses are usually worth less than $2,000,000. What Bushies want is to gradually move the estate tax cuts up the ladder until all estates are tax-free. Then you have the robber baron elite again, the permanent very rich and then everyone else trying to climb up to their level.
