"We know Intel has substantial inventories and is still continuing to produce older parts. "

More than that. Doesn't Intel have a new Netburst stepping out in September?

Is it possible that Intel is manufacturing more C/M/W parts than it admits to in order to force tier 2 OEMs to clear out the older inventory??? Could they be using the C/M/W launch to reward/punish loyal customers??? No facts, just posing a question to the board???
