Are you saying we can't have highly compensated US government trade negotiators addressing the negative impact of their agreements on American citizens? That's ridiculous--The primary reason for negotiating trade agreements in the first place is for the greater good of the citizens of the USA. Any other criteria denies the actual owners of this nation their constitutional rights. Of course, the most effective way to address the problem is on election day. Today's congress reacts extremely slowly to their constituents grievances, however when re-election "problems" become evident, somehow they manage do the right thing.
