You are a nice guy GST but naive as hell. Peace was here in 2000 with clinton and look whats happened since. Peace was here when the UN partioned in 47 but the arabs declared war. Yes Israel is being ruthless in destroying hizbolla. If they succeed they will protect themselves on the north border for a generation. Until there are folks to make peace with, israel will make war with great effectiveness. Dont let the slow start Israel got off to in this war to make you think that they will fail.
