Ahmadinejad may be crazy, but he doesn’t have the power. You don’t actually believe that the mullahs, or the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah or even Al Qaeda believe that martyrdom cr*p?

I don't know. I don't know anybody who does know for sure.

What you say about Stalin and Mao not being truly crazy was exactly what people were saying about Hitler in the 1930s. "It's just rhetoric for domestic consumption." "He's just doing it to consolidate his power." "He'll never do what he's saying he will do, he would destroy German power. He won't risk it."

But like you say, Hitler turned out to be truly crazy.

Is Ahmedinijad? Is Khamenei? I don't know. They have been sounding mighty bold lately. More like a power that already has nukes, than one stalling for time to get some.
