Hell, al Sadr's bunch is IN THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT, They have one of the LARGEST BLOCS IN THE PARLEMENT. Our invasion helped to put 'em in power. You wouldn't be recommending that the US assassinate a leading government official of our 'ally' Iraq, now would you? That would really help our popularity in Iraq. :-( (You would just be hastening our exit from the country... turning that exit from a voluntary one, to a forced exit.)
