YOUR GOOD NESS shows through all you post on the boards.
I think you're losing it.

I have lost over one million two hundred thousand by being taken by con men.
I see why you're buttering up CB. You're going need an attorney. That statement is slanderous.
In addition , I personally know of several people on SI he has done good work for. MAYBE the problem is what he claims- -CB isn't providing information he needs and only she can provide.

I was not having an affair as all lawyers suggested..
Eh? That's definitely not a normal comment from an attorney.

I just trusted, believed in them and two were financial planners.
My turn for slander. Commonly financial planners sell stock, mutual funds, ... and can be bought by whoever offers the largest commissions. EXTREME caution is advisable in dealing with them. I'd advise not doing so at all.

One guy is in jail.
Consider yourself lucky. Commonly they walk.

You know that JUSTICS STINKS sometimes. Look at O.J
I can find you some people that would argue OJ was innocent. :-)
(Not me, though.)

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. That includes accusations. I don’t have any idea to the truth of this dispute. I don’t know any of the facts and I’ve not spoken to either of the parties involved recently. Six years ago I did do business with “the one who seems to be the new topic of this thread” and I met him in person at least once in the course of the project.

I read a lot more than I post. I always like to read CobaltBlue’s posts. I have a lot of respect for her but I also have a lot of respect for “the one who seems to be the new topic of this thread” even if he has turned out more conservative than I expected. (;-))

A few years back, I was suckered into running for a position on the homeowner’s association board for my community. Sadly, I was elected. When they found out I was capable of creating and updating web sites I was saddled with the community web site. Everyone was all excited, “Can we send you images to display? Can we send you recipes? Can we have a section that lists handyman we know to do a good job? Can we have a section to sell our old car and stuff?

You sure can, I said!

I built the site and structured it for this stuff.

What did I get in return?

Three years running, no recipes, no community photos, no handyman recommendations, no content! We did have a brisk business in the “classifieds” section, but nothing in the last two years.

Is everyone positive that this not merely a case of differing expectations? A normal business occurrence, nothing to do with “Investing with Friends” and more to do with doing business with friends? A two way street.
