>>An amazing Floyd Landis comeback by RKRW put him back in first place.<<

More like Lance Armstrong.

Bulba, thanks for keeping the fire lit. 2006 is up for grabs.

8/11/06 Update
A lousy week for biotechs and for the planet. At Friday's close, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was down -10.68% YTD (vs. -7.38% at the NBI's 8/4/06 close). The median for the 40 Charity Portfolios also fell for the week, and is now down -12.75% YTD (vs. -9.61% YTD at the prior week's close). Currently, just 4 of the 40 Charity Portfolios are in the black YTD and only 15 of the 40 portfolios are outperforming the NBI.
Although it took a hit, RKRW's portfolio remains in the lead and is now up 20.5% YTD. We do have a new No. 2, as CYRAN (up 12.2% YTD) has pulled ahead of Wilder (up 11.1% YTD).
Let's hope next week is more fun.
Here's the Unofficial Top Ten list on 8/11/06:
