Walmart may be the largest importer from China but that's irrelevant to the fact that China and Walmart as separate issues. If Walmart did not import from China other people would have and eventually Walmart would probably have been forced to do so in order to compete. Retailers who pay noticeably more than they have to for goods can't compete except in niches. If American producers can't compete for certain types of goods with China than China is going to make those goods and export them to the US, with or without Walmart.
