Patricia, good to hear from you and I am certain and 100% sure you will find plenty of Hot & Humid weather on your trip lol.
The heat wave finally broke here yesterday. Its very sunny and clear today with low humidity for a change and although its already about 90 degrees it feels 30 degrees cooler then when it was 101 here on Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday.
Now that Chris fizzled out there is a new and very interesting feature in the GOM just south of New Orleans. What makes it interesting is that it formed over land as a cluster of thunderstorms then moved into the GOM and seems to be developing a closed circulation. If this should develop into a TD it would be the first time in 23 years that this happened in the Atlantic basin.
Regards,

Benny
