Daniel Yergin of CERA...the SAME guy who in 2001 said North American natural gas production was about to surge...when it instead started irreversible decline in 2002....hence all the hullabaloo about LNG terminals in this country now cuz NOW we gotta import it.
Yep...that Yergin...what a guy.
I'll go with the most experienced living oil geologists on the planet who aren't clients of or working for the Saudis and the ExxonMobils.
I'll also go with combined average data from EIA and IEA reports on monthly global production totals:
