I set up portfolio on Yahoo! to follow the takeover candidates mentioned in mineweb's article "Finding New Barricks". Prices paid are based on the closing price of Friday, August 4th, 2006. Initial investment Cdn$1,000 in each of 51 stocks. (I think the commission bill will be scary!) Hi Dara, Very good. What's special about the 14 you added to the initial list of 37? Did you intend to post periodic updates with present value? If so, a separate SI msg board would make it easier to follow. Commission bill shouldn't be scary if assuming $10 trades at TDA, only 1% of total. Commission would be scary if using a full service broker. What's scary would be the bite the commission would take out of my 56 shares of ORN.v present value $14.43 down from $1300 initially as Conquistador Mines long ago :) You've got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them...
