Just look at MSM coverage and compare the attitude of today against the attitude of 2002 when Israel went into Jenin. Attitudes can quickly change depending upon how artful the fanatics are in manipulating international opinion with their propaganda. It can also change when people's fear of greater conflagrations erupting overshadow the desire of a nation to have defensible borders. Basically, is it a lesser of two evils to tolerate Israel being threatened, bombarded, and/or sacrificed, in the interest of preventing a greater regional war, and submitting to a tolerance of intolerance in the name of so-called "convenient peace".
