JMHO, if the Fed "pauses" on Tuesday, initial bullish stock market reaction will not last. The idea of "stagflation" will take over and long term interest rates will rise, impacting stock sentiment.Don't think gold or gold stocks will necessarily follow the general stock market trend. As for politics, that will become a market factor later.

The Dems are bound to take some of this back..

The pendulum has swung as far as it can to the right and a snapback is long overdue.
