"MARKETIMER is projecting a significant countertrend rally which is expected to be led by the Nasdaq 100 Index. We expect this rally to persist over a period of approximately 2-4 months, and to generate Nasdaq gains in excess of 20% from the vicinity of the recently established Nasdaq closing low point.

The poster currently using the Shres alias on this site in an attempt to diminish the disasterous advice and foolhardy optimism Brinker sent in his only urgent "ACT IMMEDIATELY" bulletin ever said:

"We recommend subscribers interested in taking advantage of this recommendation act immediately"

No matter how you slice it Stocky that's what it says."

Why "slice" it at all to take a sentence out of the context of an URGENT BULLETIN about a SIGNIFICANT TRADING OPPORTUNITY with NO MENTION OF RISK OR EVEN A POSSIBLE DOWNSIDE. ONLY 20% or MORE GAINS IN TWO TO FOUR MONTHS. Absolute idiocy combined with the confidence of a charlatan is the only way to describe this guidance.

We view this projected Nasdaq rally as a significant trading opportunity for MARKETIMER subscribers seeking potential short-term capital gains. Our clear vehicle of choice for this opportunity is the Nasdaq 100, which is traded on the American Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol QQQ.

We recommend MARKETIMER subscribers with aggressive objectives invest 30% to 50% of existing CASH RESERVES in the QQQ shares in order to exploit this opportunity. Also, we recommend subscribers with conservative investment objectives invest 20% to 30% of CASH RESERVES in the QQQ shares in order to take advantage of this opportunity.

MARKETIMER will provide follow up guidance for this short-term opportunity in regular monthly editions, and, if necessary, in follow up bulletins."

"Hey, I've got a question for you. You called Brinker a gambling fool with other peoples money but I was wondering...in all your years of bashing Brinker have you ever been able to come up with a definitive answer as to how much, if any, Brinker personally invested in the QQQ trade?"

No, how would you ever know? You can tell Brinker is spinning or lying when you hear his voice or read his hubris. He is nothing if not INCONSISTANT.

I would not be surprised if Brinker didn't place a huge bet on the QQQs and hold it all the way down. He has bragged about his gambling and his claimed acumen in trading tech stocks. I've seen many like him that were big players whether it was in livestock, commmodities, trading stocks, sport's betting, table games. Bennett--the old morality author in fact had that gambling fever and threw away something like 8 mil in Vegas. It is indeed a disease. All we have to go on is Brinker's claims that he had to go to several casinos to collect his winnings from one super bowl. That is indeed a bad sign for someone who has a second home claiming it as his primary residence since New Mexico has a state income tax, so close to Vegas. We also have a rather good look at the guy under his posts under an alias here that seems to fit the profile of someone who just thinks they are "special", forgets losses and touts wins. Very very bad combination for a gambler, an investor or most importantly an advisor that doesn't tell all the truth.
