"The only reason I probably won't leave, is because that would make you all happy."

I'm not anxious to see you leave, but as a friend, I have to ask if that's really a good enough reason to stay.

If you find that standing for the truth as you see it, in the face of stiff opposition, is rewarding, then that might be a reason to stay.

If there's something else you get out of it, then that could make it worth staying.

I just can't see preventing your opponents from celebrating your leaving as a good enough reason to stay. As always, your mileage may vary.

Mr FakeDija, seeming irritable yesterday, asked:
>>-I already answered that question. I guess you didn't like the answer.

Because you answered the question (addressed to NOONE) does not preclude me from getting further opinions, does it? Do you speak for everybody? ;---)

He continued with steam shooting out of his head:
>>That effectively proved you wrong. But, of course, I got no response from you, just like I got no response from stockalot to post #22883.

None of your friends (commonly known as shills) responded either. Why are you targeting me? I am not a referee or a line judge in your argument with David K.

He then pontificates:
>>You bashers are just a bunch of phoneys. You throw out accusations, and when we answer them, you simply ignore us, and go right on posting more of your garbage.

Get a grip on reality FakeDija, my angry friend. This occurs repeatedly and frequently from both sides.

Then he goes on to threaten:
>>I'm actually thinking of leaving these boards.

Previous score= Bashers 14, shills 4
Updated score= Bashers 14 shills 3 (recent resignation)

He concludes by saying:
>>The only reason I probably won't leave, is because that would make you all happy.

How did you find out about the 6 day orgy at 101 when you left? That was some party! ;---)

Is it possible that you are taking this stuff much too seriously?

I can only suggest to relax a little and try to have fun with this crap, because it ain't worth nothing more!

I'm actually thinking of leaving these boards.

1) Was that an offer?
2) If you do decide to leave, will everyone here be blamed for "kicking you off the board?"

You sir are a schlemiel.

dija, if you need any more reasons not to consider leaving, please consider:

1) You are needed. Math does a masterful job of countering the Brinkerbashers with his impeccable logic and objectivity, but he can't do it alone. (Well, he probably could, they're not that difficult, but we don't want him to have to.) Shres manages very well in mowing the 101ers and their shills down. I do my best to call 'em as I see 'em when I see misstatements like the one yesterday that the poster had to withdraw and rewrite when I pointed out the statement was wrong. (And then the poster called ME a liar, lol.) They like to gang up, you know.
You are needed.

2) You are appreciated. Your wit, experience and market expertise, your knowledge of Brinker history and your ability to articulate same when discussing what's real in Brinker history and what is basher speculation, exaggeration and biased opinion, is invaluable.

3) I personally would be very disappointed. Now, you wouldn't want THAT, would you? ;)

4) Your original reason about not giving the Brinkerbashers the satisfaction is a perfectly valid one, among others, IMO!
:o)
