CJ: Why engage them? This is not about logic, debate, or persuasion. It's really about board bandwidth and focus.

You are dreaming Elmer.

Well maybe so but if not Q3 then Q4. I'm willing to put my money on my forecasts. Tulsa captures the high ground in 4-way and above. AMD loses 2-4 way to WoodCrest in single and dual sockets so ASPs go south. No 65nm. The price war takes mainstream product to much lower ASPs, Fab36 depreciation kicks in on low volume. Most remaining cash gone to ATI plus shares diluted. Intel Quad core this year. It won't be hard to turn $89 million in profit into a loss, be it now or be it later. Assuming my August short options expire worthless, I'll be writing more Puts & Calls for either Sept or Oct. Have to wait and see which one makes sense.

Phuddy, when speaking of red ink, was probably thinking about INTC in Q4, when they can't even achieve 10% CMW production. Either that or his absence has caused him to develop even goofier "beliefs" (which he has a penchant for confusing with reality)than his sojourn here last time when his claim of failsafe investment proved even more idiotic than some of his self-acclaimed knowledgeable computer statements in the past.

Talk about a candidate for red ink! INTC's rapidly deteriorating financials are pointing to disaster if INTC can't ramp CMW much more rapidly than the current "promise" of 1m units (i.e. 1% to 2%) of INTC mix in Q4.

Heck, INTC could esily hit red ink in Q4 given current financial statement trends and any significant CMW production glitches.
