eleutheria...It is scary, but I think it's happening more and more. Just the advent of the sonogram has probably eliminated 10's of millions of female children in China and India and that was a rather rudimentary procedure. When you start talking GENES, then you're REALLY talking pick and choose. I'm not going to be having any more children (I hope) but if I were just starting out and planning a family I think it would be VERY tempting to be able to look at a menu of traits and give my newborn a leg up in health and maybe a few other things. When those things become commonplace it will be a slippery slope on a very steep angle and I have a feeling that homosexuality will not be one of the most popular selections.
