Elroy, to be democratic a country has to count the votes of all parties and respect the rights of the minority. If the minority thinks the majority will vote to exterminate it, "democracy" will fail in an instant. You realize the neighbors of Israel have never accepted it as a country. The rest of the world should give that viewpoint some weight if we are to value democratic principles. And yes, if Americans decided to wipe out and destroy Canada, we probably would. Fortunately for them we don't. So what?
