But no outrage, just a good-natured consciousness-raising attempt on my part, and from past conversations, I feel quite sure that math is in no need of same. Actually, I think both comments were tongue-in-cheek but I don't see the terms used as very much alike in degree, do you? IOW, I don't think "ladylike" is nearly as derogatory as "catfight". Do you? In fact, I'd have to disagree with you if you're saying the term "ladylike" is sexist. I don't really see it that way, JMO. BTW, thank you for the rec, I'm glad if it made you smile. And I think your little signature face is very cute and clever indeed.
