Honey said I think your feminine outrage at sexist comments is very selective. But I'm not surprised that you would think it's alright for math but not for elan quatro--or whoever it was that made the "cat-fight" comment.

Since when do you think it's okay for a man to judge what is "ladylike" and what isn't?

Not the same thing Ms. Honey. But no outrage, just a good-natured consciousness-raising attempt on my part, and from past conversations, I feel quite sure that math is in no need of same. Actually, I think both comments were tongue-in-cheek but I don't see the terms used as very much alike in degree, do you? IOW, I don't think "ladylike" is nearly as derogatory as "catfight". Do you? In fact, I'd have to disagree with you if you're saying the term "ladylike" is sexist. I don't really see it that way, JMO.

BTW, thank you for the rec, I'm glad if it made you smile. And I think your little signature face is very cute and clever indeed.

PMFJI, but saying that it's OK for one gender and not OK for the other gender to have and express an opinion on any subject is VERY sexist.
