Bill campaigned for Joe ... he also worked on Joe's first campaign a million years ago ... they have long and strong personal ties.

But BOTH Clintons will support Lamont if (when!) he wins the primary.

btw, the only thing Bill should do is convince Hillary to STAY AWAY from the upcoming presidential race...It would also be nice if he had the courage to motivate Al Gore to run in '08.

I heard a report today that gives Hillary 37% of the Dem vote and makes her the front runner. Gore was in 2nd place with about 19% so she has a big lead right now.

Of course much can change before the candidates are nominated.

I know Hillary campaigned for Joe about a month ago. I heard a talkshow on the radio that blasted her for doing so. She and Joe haven't voted on the same side of many issues.

But, she has a large Jewish population in NY so she has to walk a fine line.
