Hi michael97123; Re: "And you believe that the arab states and arab terror groups will by into this Kumbaya solution of yours? ... I dont claim to have the answer but feel strongly that until someone on the arab side, and particularly on the terrorist side, whether al quaeda or iran sponsered, is willing to say the words that the israelis can stay, on and off war is the regions future."

You asked me for my "best case for Israel", I gave it to you. If you don't like my best case, you can always ask for my worst case. But I think you already know it. But Jordan and Egypt have already signed peace agreements with Israel, so it's not clear that there is no Arab support for the Israelis staying.

Re: "And i also dont think that the israelis wont learn from this mess and find other more effective ways to fight entrenched guerillas. One lesson is that guerilla moveemnts wont ever be allowed to grow in the Pal areas."

Not "allowing" guerilla movements to grow in Palestinian areas is an "objective" of Israel, it is not a "lesson". And it is probably not an achievable objective. You're still making conclusions based on an assumption of Israeli military superiority forever. Look at the trend. And the Palestinians are taking notes and learning too. The history of war is that, when people have conflicts that last very long times, technological advantages, tend to slowly fade away, and eventually raw numbers win.
