Now you'll have difficulty finding any significant group in Lebanon that wants to disarm Hezbollah. If the Lebanese goverment wants to disarm Hezbollah now, they'll be booted out of office and replaced by a Government that fully supports Hezbollah. MORON!! Over the past 6 years SINCE ISRAEL LEFT LEBANON , Hizbullah hasn't gotten weaker.. IT HAS GOTTEN STRONGER. In 2000, they didn't possess more weapons and technology than the Lebanese Army.. THEY DO NOW!! In 2000, they weren't a member of the government. They are now. In 2000, they didn't have 15,000 rockets provided by Syria and Iran... But they did when they launched their "glorius little war" against the Jews.. So hop on the "clue train" and recognize that Hizbullah was going to be more powerful REGARDLESS of this Israel response. It's one of the reasons that Hizbullah felt bold enough to cross over the Israeli border, kill 8 soldiers and kidnap two others. Because they didn't think anyone was going to do anything to stop them. They certainly didn't anticipate the massive response by Israel.Congratulations on making Iran the major power in the mid-east and pushing Syria and Iran together. THEY WERE ALREADY TOGETHER!! The arming of Hizbullah didn't just happen overnight. You're just too much of an IGNORAMUS to recognize that!! But the Iranian people aren't very happy about having Iranian oil revenues being spent on supporting a war upon Israel when they so desperately need it at home. And Iraqi Shi'a are ARABS, not Persians.. So under Al-Sistani, the level of control that Iran has over the Iraqi Shi'a is not nearly as much as you'd like to believe. In case you forget, the primary holy cities of Shi'ism are in Iraq.. not in Iran.. and the Iraqi Shi'a are not keen on subjugating themselves to Persian domination. Hawk
