You miss my point. His views may be progressive but he follows a policy that appeases both hizbolla and syria. I feel bad for the guy actually. Like 9/11 did here, the hizbola attack on israel changed everything and he decided to appease hizbolla/syria/iran rather than condemn that attack. I wonder what would have happened if he had blasted hizbolla from the getgo. Perhaps sunni and christian lebanese might have avoided the assault if they tried to control hizbolla in their regions. Admittedly i am just guessing here.
