What statement was a lie? Walmart isn't responsible for the decisions that it doesn't make. No lying involved in coming to that conclusion.

If people like Goldwater were running the country you would be blasting them. Goldwater was certainly more libertarian than Bush is. He would support trade restrictions or campaigns against Walmart. He would support price restrictions or windfall taxes against oil companies. He wouldn't support higher tax rates. The only issues where you might like him more is Iraq, and maybe on social/cultural/religious issues. But he was too much of a supporter of the free market for your taste.
