First their was the Roman Empire then their was US, the revived Roman Empire. The Russians and Chinese already know they would like the world a lot better without US as part of it. Lot's more oil for the rest of them and the bonus of US not always trying to run the world. How do you spell SNEAK ATTACK. Our days are numbered.

I favor the several, or at least bi, world power idea. I like balance. I certainly don't want someone OTHER than us being the sole superpower, I just don't believe that we are such noble creatures we really can handle being the only. (Does that make me Hobbesian?) Our forefathers wisely recognized the need for balance in power. Domination is such a dangerous path.
